The First Vape Ever Made

It may surprise you, but the first vaping device was invented even before you might have even been born!

Back in 1963, a scrap metal dealer named Herbert A. Gilbert patented the "Smokeless" - essentially the first vape invented. The 60's were the beginning of an eternal campaign on the negatives of smoking cigarettes, and the possibility of a substitute to such a ubiquitous vice had Herbert thinking hard about the income potential.

Similar to today's vaping market, he created flavors that would appeal to the masses in order to help the conversion with tastes like mint, rum and cinnamon!
Unfortunately the invention was ahead of its time and Herbert couldn't find a company to produce the design and the patent's exclusivity ran out long before the comeback in the early 2000's and look where we are today.
