There are so many things to love about summer. The sunshine, the ability to get outdoors and enjoy nature, and of course, the music festivals!
Festivals bring all the great things about summer together. Better still, music festivals are one of the rare events where you can vape at will! It’s true, some festivals will have designated vaping zones, but others are more relaxed, and you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite flaves alongside your favorite tunes.
That said, there are a few things to keep in mind before hitting up a festival with your vape.
Here are some quick tips to help you enjoy your festival experience to the fullest!
The last thing you want is to have your vape device confiscated at a music festival. Now, that would be a downer! It’s easy to avoid though. All you need to do is make sure to check a festival’s policies beforehand.
Even though most festivals allow vaping, many of them will have rules around where you can vape. A lot of the time, you won’t be able to vape under pop-ups or tents, but open areas are fine!
Another common rule to note is that some festivals won’t let you bring in glass bottles. So, it’s best to carry your e-juices in plastic bottles just in case.
Depending on what music festival you’re going to, you may not have access to power when you need it. Some festivals have charging stations, but there’s usually a lineup. Other festivals have no access to power whatsoever.
To avoid running out of power, you can bring a portable charger with you. That way, you won’t have to wait in a long lineup, and you can charge your device whenever you want. You could also bring extra batteries and switch them out.
On top of battery power, you’ll need plenty of e-juice. Bring lots of spare juice just in case. If you have plenty of extra juice on hand, you won’t have to stress about running out!
One thing all festivals have in common in the summer is the heat! Whether you’re going to Lollapalooza, Burning Man, or Coachella, chances are it’s going to be hot.
What that means is you have to be extra careful with your kit. If you’re running around with spare batteries in your pocket, those batteries could overheat and cause an accident.
So, be conscious of safety. Invest in a carrying case for your kit and store it someplace cool and out of the way. Often, you can rent lockers at festivals, or you can keep your kit in your tent. This way, you won’t damage your device and ruin the fun!
At the end of the day, music festivals are great events to attend for us vapers! If you know the rules, come prepared and practice safety, you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a great time.
