Get to Know VanGo Part 2

Our company is made possible by its people. When we refer to the VanGo fam, we really are referring to family. Last week, we introduced a few members of that family. This week, we’re introducing a few more! These are the people who help bring you the flavors you love, and who pour care and attention into everything they do. They are passionate, dedicated and diverse, not to mention some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Sure, we may have a slight bias, but we’re not wrong!

Read on to meet four more of the fam, to learn about the flavors they love, and to get their take on where the vaping industry is going.

What do you do at VanGo?

I manage all the finances, all the money. The marketing team is supposed to spend it, and I’m supposed to save it! So, I make sure everything is running efficiently, and that nothing is falling through the cracks. Basically, I make sure the business is operating well, and that we are good to go financially.

What is your favorite flavor?

My favorite flavor is usually Cactus Jango, but I’ve been on The Root for the last couple months. I’ve been doing a good 60 ml every three days!

Where do you think the industry will go?

In the future, the best reference would be looking at where the UK is right now. So, vaping being widely socially acceptable. Vaping not being tied to tobacco but being its own thing, everyone using it for the greater good and lots of government support. Right now, it’s a tough time in Canada. It feels like we are still in the early stages. It’s going to be a wild ride to get to where we need to be, but if you want to see where the industry is going to go, definitely look at the UK because they have the most progressive position right now.

What do you do at VanGo?

Basically, we prepare the juice. Initially, we make a concentrate, so we take different flavors and by following the software, we prepare a recipe by mixing different flavors in one concentrate. From there, we follow the software again, and we make different batches for every day. Some of them are inventory batches, some are custom batches. We prepare the juices that are going to be poured in the different bottles: 60ml, 120ml and 30ml!

What is your favorite flavor?

Frozen Ophelia and The Root.

Do you have a favorite mix?

Yes, I like to mix Frozen Ophelia with many things. But right now, I’m mixing The Root with Water Berry.

Where do you think the industry will go?

It’s growing really fast. A lot people in the market. Huge competition. I think it’s going to grow more and that everyone is going to love it. Eventually, everyone will quit smoking and start vaping. With smoking, there are a lot of bad things: infections, tar. With vaping, you don’t get any of that, and you get to explore all these flavors.

What is your favorite flavor?

So far, I love Frozen Mango.

Where do you think the industry will go?

I expect vaping to replace smoking, so everyone can be healthier!

What is your favorite flavor?

Unfortunately, or I guess fortunately, I’ve been stuck on Frozen Tropix for the last couple years!

Do you have a favorite mix?

Personally, I like a lot of different things. I’m all over the place because I do all the recipes, so I have to love everything! I have love for all the flavors and then a personal love for the fruity mints. I love everything from tobaccos to menthols to coffees to fruits. I love them all for what they are.

Where do you think the industry will go?

I think that it’s very important for the craft manufacturers to stay strong, stay united. To not let big tobacco come in and crush us out and turn this into another poison dealing industry.
